Look. Pacquiao deserves all the praise in the world. He stepped into Wild Card and worked on his craft. He has guts.. he has passion.. he is a champion in ever sense of the word. He's blood, sweat, and tears... and he's earned it.

Floyd is a God-gifted virtuoso. But virtuosity is not always palatable to the average observer.

It happens all the time in music. The general population thinks guys in bands ( I won't name names) are the best guitar players. But the real guitar God's like Satriani, Vai, Malmsteen are only appreciated by usually other aspiring guitar players or musicians.. the people on the INSIDE know the difference in skill and mastery.

Floyd's skills will win every fight he has because no one else has the mastery he has. He doesn't have to be the fastest or strongest. The technical mismatch in the proposed fight between him and Pac is so great, that it's amazing more people don't just say so.

Right now Pac is doing **** in boxing that is so far beyond what other participants are able to do that sometimes even they don't understand it.

The boxing insiders all said Oscar would whoop his ass. The way he beat down Cotto was just unreal. The fighters and insiders thought Cotto would give Pac hell, but it was the fans that made the odds what they were. Turns out when it come to Pac the fans are one up on the insiders.

There will always be a knee jerk reaction to what the public thinks. Often if a fighter endears himself to the casual fan and general public, he will get discredited by hardcore fans and boxing insiders who want to distance themselves from the public and casual fans, not based on that fighter's actual abilities.

Pac is like the Jimi Hendrix of Guitar players.

floyd's been boxing since he was a toddler. I don't think its "God" given talent. He's just been doing his thing forever.

Is he the superior boxer of the two? Absolutely..

Does that make him the better fighter? Settle it in the ring.

Catchweights, and draining guys down are fair criticisms of Pac.

Oscar drained Hopkins down to a catchweight for the MW titles, got KTFO

Paul Williams drained Martinez down to catchweight for the MW titles, got KTFO

Allan Green drained Glen Johnson down to a weight he hadn't made in 10 years, got KTFO

Pacquiao drained Cotto down to a catchweight for the WW title, completely destroyed him.

the only thing pac says is: "what is my concern is that he train hard for the fight and i train hard for the fight and hopefully we can make the people happy."

No. More like comparing Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) to Jeff Beck (Rod Stewart/Jeff Beck Group). Jeff Beck did things with his instrument that makes guitar players wet themselves. Jimmy Page is fantastic and he won over the non-musician public with his "fan-friendly" guitar playing. Jeff Beck was more of the underground inspiration. Both great, but Beck is overshadowed because of Jimmy Page's more "fan-friendly" playing. (speaking more of the Yardbirds days)

thank you... exactly my point and if it was announced that the two were about to do a "cutting heads" guitar duel... the so called know-nothing fans would say Page will own this guy.. who is this Beck guy anyways..... LOL
