I honestly think Roy won rounds 1,2,5 and 6

Ah yes forgot about that, that was a very good punch and would've dropped a good few fighters.

I still don't think he did enough to win anything but round one, and possibly round two as well.

Why's that? I'm not Welsh, and I'm not a Calzaghe or Jones fan.

 

Calzaghe fought a shell of a former great, and still met the canvas early in the fight. I give Calzaghe very little credit for this win, while he did dominate Jones after the 1st round, he was unable to stop him and did what many people expected him to do to the 39 yearold Jones.

Calzaghe needs to fight Dawson, if he manages to beat him, I will have no choice, but to give him the credit he deserves.

 

Glass Jaw Roy won the first round with the forearm shiver and the second round. After that he was taunted and beaten silly and made to look like a complete joke. He won 2 rounds. It is not often that all 3 judges have the same scorecards. The fight was easy to score.

 

I gave him rounds 1,5 and 6. Calzaghe was getting hit too much for my liking, not least because he was standing right in front of Jones, who still had speed. Calzaghe has declined since his fight against Kessler, in my view. His performances aren't as strong. He should retire.

 

Wasn't that glass jaw supposed to be exposed on Saturday ? Really you need to stop it now ! Your borderline stalkish !

 

He possibly did, I haven't had the chance to view the fight since it was on live.
I'm not too bothered either way though, it was obvious the day the fight was signed who was going to win.

 

Are you an idiot? His Glass Jaw was exposed when Tarver knocked him silly and Johnson put him into a coma. A Calzaghe KO would have been icing on the cake it is a shame feather fisted Joe let off the gas the last two rounds because he could have stopped him if it were not for all the taunting and showboating. Either way Roy was made to look like a fool.

 

they fought 3 times Jones was KO ed once and in the 1st fight watch how many flsuh shots he took from Antonio !!And the Johnson KO came after a 9 rd beating ! 9rds how does that make his jaw glass ?

Dude, all three judges scored the fight correctly. I can understand people giving Roy round 2, but even that would be wrong in my eyes.

11-1 was the correct score. By any chance did you have Hopkins beating Joe?
