And besides the obvious height and reach advantages, is there any other attributes/ reasons why you would favor PTP over Clottey?

So I'm supposed to sit here and tell you my life story to impress yo dumb ass. Why? You are being quite silly over nothing.

I hear **** all the time about PW. It's all good. It's only the internet, fool. You are the one who got all emotional when someone talked about precious little Cotto.

But rest assured motha****a, he is no longer Bob Arum's cash cow, and he will finally feed him to the lion imn the next year. PW will finally get to stomp his ass like a cucaracha, like he's been trying to do since the Margarito fight in 2007...

When it comes to intangibles Pacquiao has been about ten times the fighter Clottey has been. I'd love to see Clottey get this win, but would he?? Would you, Josh? Or are you going to slow down again 3 yards for the endzone and drop the ball?

I expect Clottey to be a tougher test for Pac than Cott was.

However, i see Pac's speed bothering Clottey.

Anything could happen here but I see a clear UD for Pac.

    This is a fair post.

He will definitely be stronger, more durable, and have much better timing and defense than Cotto.

I disagree, of course, but this is a fair assessment.:good

I like Clottey but it seems like he always just comes close. He has not won anything to put him over the top. He does enough to make it a fight but never takes the fight over.

Absolutely. Work rate, good chin and Clottey does not have great power. Williams keeps Clottey in a defensive shell for long stretches. Clottey is a crisp counter puncher but a little stationary. I would like to see this fight, no doubt. I've always liked Clottey and I'm glad he got a chance vs Pac.

Reasonable analysis. I would also add that he would have a great speed advantage, fights from the unorthodox south paw stance, and has an unpredictable offensive arsenal.

Now, when you take into account the subject matter of this thread, do you smell what it is that I'm cookin?
