I hope Peterson whom is the number #1 JWW contender fights Khan next. Peterson will give Khan problems if this fight was to ever occur. Peterson chin and boxing ability will make this a good fight and Peterson will be a live "underdog". Khan has expressed interest in fighting Floyd next. Maybe Khan needs to do like Victor Ortiz and fight Peterson who has good boxing skills.

Peterson has improved alot and this is a potential match-up if Khan stays at 140.

Khan has already said that he's fighting once more at 140 this year, before moving to 147 and trying to get a fight with Floyd.

It'll either be Peterson, or the winner from Morales-Matthysse or Guerrero-Maidana. My guess is, that Peterson would be the last guy from that list that the fans would pick. He's a good fighter but I don't see him giving Khan too much trouble and he doesn't have the power of a Matthysse or Maidana to make things interesting.

I was pulling for this fight to happen whe Khan ended up facing McCloskey. Peterson would give Khan a good fight but I'd pick Khan in a competitive decision. I don't think he faces Peterson though, he plans on going to welterweight and Peterson brings the least amount to the table of the 140 options.Morales, clearly gets the first shot if he upsets Matthysee, then Bradley if he is interested, then the winner of Guerrero-Madaina, and Prescott if he beats McCloskey would all get a crack, if they want it, before Peterson.

Peterson would have to hope Morales and Prescott both lose, Bradley is tangled up in litigation or signs with Top Rank, and the Guerrero-Madaina winner prices themselves out before he gets the chance.

Its a win situation for Peterson either way. If Khan does not fight him he just get the Ibf belt.

Khan does a Kotelnik type job on him and wins wide.

I'd be kinda interesting to see Peterson-Khan as well

obviously if he got be Lucas, Morales seems easy pickings ... but what are the chances that Morales

. His fight should be pretty grueling so unless it ends early, would the Morales/Matthysse winner be ready to fight again in December?

and same goes for Maidana/Guerrero (who fight at the end of August) & Prescott's fight which is September

these aren't tune up fights so what's the likelihood that each respective winner will be ready to fight with only 3 months to go

Peterson might not be the best name, but he's sitting mandatory for the IBF and already resting up

Apparently Khan offered Peterson a fight 6 months ago and Peterson rejected it. Plus he's going to 147 after 1 more fight @140. Fight fans would rather see Khan fight the winner of Lucas-Eric or Guerrero-Madaina. What say?
