I hope Floyd never fights Shane "Toothache" Mosley

He would get some respect from the fans for fighting someone in his own division.

 

Fact 1: Mosely has not been at the TOP for years which is why he is calling out Floyd- he wanted nothing to do with Floyd when it was Floyd calling him out.
Fact 2: Mosely has 5 losses and is a lower draw than a few of Mayweather's options (Cotto, and Pacqiao for sure!)
Fact 3: Mosely is available for Mayweather only because he has no options.... he is starving for a fight. No one wants him because he has losses, doesn't sell out like some opponents and is dangerous. It makes all the sense in the world to stiff arm him out of a fight IMO!!

 

Say what you will...but it does not change what I saw Saturday night.

Kellerman brought up Mosley's name and Floyd stammered and stuttered...
Mosley then appeared and got in Floyd's grill and Floyd was visibly intimidated.
The whole theater erupted in laughter and began to shout out to Floyd
" You ***** " " You Chicken....you're scared " !!!

I would love to see the Mosley/Mayweather matchup but it will never happen. I wouldn't really be surprised if Cotto beats pacman and Mayweather still fights Manny. PBF doesn't care about titles or recognition he just wants a payday. And Manny has an international fanbase, Shane has California. Plus Floyd wants no part of a real ww.

 

Sugars' win over Margo was very misleading and has a lot of people fooled into thinking he's still on top of his game. First Margo was made to order for him a slow guy who plods stands in front of you with no jab. Of course he could get off on Margo he didn't have to find him and he had him beat in all departments. Mosley was getting outboxed by Mayorga at times and went life and death with him. He was badly out boxed by Cotto. The guy can't deal with boxers and for the life of me I can't see how people think PBF-Mosley is a close fight. When all PBF will do is stick and move and tire Shane out. Why becasue he's big and fast??? He's basically a slugger with speed he's strong and has power but that's basically it. He's very basic and easy fighter to figure out he doesn't make adjustments and will just keep coming forward with no jab eating shots and breathing heavely out of his mouth.

 

I suggest that you re-watch the fight

He was out boxed by Cotto. Cotto hit him with his jab moved and was in control of the fight.

I feel you. I hope PBF fights the winner of Cotto - Pac and then Paul WIlliams if he wins the Middleweight title.

 

Don't forget he was blocking Cotto and Vargas right hands with his face. Just look at his WW fights prior to Margo.
