I feel terrible for saying this but I really hope Bhop beats the living **** out of Danny Greene.

I'm being selfish but can't help it.

    1. I've been a Jones fan for 16 years.

    2. I didn't like the way Greene jumped about like he'd beat the man in his prime. Did Holmes do that post Ali? Did Norris do it post Leonard? It was a great win for a mediocre fighter but calm down ffs.

    3. He reminds me of Camacho with his challenging legends sh*t! It's a selling point to beat great old fighters and make a career out of it and that doesn't sit well with me.

Jones has been a d*ck in the past but he's 1000 times the fighter Danny Greene could ever dream of being.

Sorry Danny, you seem like a nice guy and you tried to say nice things and look as if you meant it but tragically I hope you get your ass kicked.

if hopkins fights anywhere near as good as he did v calzaghe and pavlik then greene is in trouble.

    no worries there mate.

  4. What you are feeling is called "tall poppy syndrome". Mediocre people feel threatened when another mediocre individual rises above the pack to shine. It's a socio-evolutionary phenomenon.

I know dude. I said I was wrong but I need to blame somebody:lol:

However, check Robinson losing in later years and see if Paul Pender jumps about like a tit:shock:

    Did I miss something?

Cause the last I checked, the odds of Bhop fighting Green are about a million to one.

Don't hate on Danny, he has put in the hard yards like most other fighters. He only has a couple of fights left - he's trying to make the most of it.

I kind of agree with you on this. It's understandable. Just shows you how great RJJ was that his legacy still carries so much weight this far past his best days.

    PS- STFU noob.:D

    LOL na that's not it:lol:

A guy just waxed one of my favourite fighters and I want him scalped. I apologised for being nasty.

    Plus, I'm exceptional!

Noob on here maybe but I know my stuff dude!:D

  12. It's all good dude. I held a bitter, irrational grudge against Hatton for years for beating Tszyu. I still feel angst. :D

Well being English I don't particularly like Aussies in anycase....we have rivalries in various sports and in boxing we finally had a sport that they couldn't touch us on.....until Danny Green comes along and beats RJJ, now he's the 'next big thing'! Which is laughable, as Jones is way past his best and Green hasn't beaten any other names!

So yes, i'd like to see Hopkins beat Green!

My only query is, do you think it's a realistic fight? and also why do you think B-Hop would want to fight Green?

From what i've read and seen, it would appeat that Jones isn't Hopkins' favourite person in the world, so it wouldn't be to avenge his defeat, would it be a case of one-upsmanship??

I could see Hopkins schooling Green, although he's 44 and against a fast powerful guy like Green, could be a risky fight!!

I wouldn't say he was 'the next big thing.' RJJ will be the biggest win of his career, which will span a further 2/3 fights i think.

About 90% sure he won't fight B-HOP, more chance of RJJ/B-HOP happening.

If hopkins has anything left he schools green, but hey the man is getting on in years and has to be there to be taken at some point.

    Intresting fight :good
