    Unfortunately Kovalev's mental state seems to be his biggest enemy. I expect Alvarez to beat him even easier this time because Kovalev will be scared of getting KO'd again or he has the dreaded Amir Khan KO disease.

    if he trains like a demon, he can reverse it, but its very close to hanging them up time. Maybe he cant do it anymore too, he doesn't seem as spiteful in there now !

    Kovalev isn't dedicated, he doesn't like training.

    I'm a fan and hope he wins but he deserves to lose.

    Agreed. I remember him saying that he worked on the mental side of things for the Ward rematch. He must have felt so strong mentally going into that fight, so to lose and to lose the way he did..it would have affected him going forward into the Alvarez fight, and it'll affect him for the rest of his career.

    Well his career was derailed by A side corruption. After that it was all downhill from there, and add to his physical and mental decline, you get the result from the Alvarez fight.


    He’s on his way out, if he somehow mounts a comeback people will keep on talking about him again.
