I hope the ticket sales and ppv numbers BOMB :fire . I'm so stick of Mayweather swearing he's the biggest draw ever. Give him a dose of reality. I love boxing but I refuse to buy his PPV just for that reason. Grow some cojones and fight the top WW. Quit crying that Mosely lost his chance, Cotto is a draw and Pac doesnt deserve 50/50. :patsch

Cotto is fighting Clottey in a fight people are calling 50/50 and guess what Clottey's biggest win is?, a blown up beyond shot Corrales(RIP) in a 10 rounder which went the distance.

Mosley is the top Welterweight now and after 2 years out of the sport Marquez isn't a bad fight as you try to make it be. Marquez is P4P#2 and a former Pacquiao opponent, aren't Pacquiao's last two opponents former Mayweather opponents too?, if you can't see he's trying to hype up the biggest fight in boxing right now then you're blind or delusional.

As much as we all would love to see him fight Mosley we would prefer the Pac fight first as it's the biggest fight in boxing right now BY FAR. Mayweather also announced, just incase you're blind again, that Mosley or Pacquiao are his next targets including a FIVE fight deal signed. Wait for his fight to finish then we can start discussion, he can't fight them all the same night. Also I would recommend focusing more on Cotto/Clottey before starting threads which could end up embarrassing later.

Well in case your blind according to a scene of boxing...

He tried to make a fight with Mosley when the two boxers were competing in the lower weight divisions. Mayweather claims that Mosley had no interest in the fight. Now Mosley is requesting the fight, and Mayweather has little interest in obliging.
“It was after the fight when I fought Genaro Hernandez, when he was a lightweight and I was a junior lightweight - we tried to make the fight happen. He wants me now that he has five losses and his career is coming to an end,” Mayweather said

Doesnt sound like Mayweather has Mosley in his sights to me. Marquez is coming up 2 weight classes fighting someone who is still arguably still in his prime. Not unlike Pac/Delahoya.

Cotto/Clottey is alot more game then this fight. :happy

maybe if people boycott his fights then he'll get the message that fighting lightweights isn't acceptable for a welterweight who claims to be p4p champ.

Yes, I'm sure a couple crybabies will make Floyd/JMM do terrible numbers. The fact you don't like him but are talking about him shows he's doing his job of excellent promoting as usual. Like it or not, no one can sell a fight like Floyd!

Let me add more to your list of information.

Mayweather also tried to get the fight in 2006 but got turned down to allow DLH to take it instead, remember the "pain in the tooth" classic after the Vargas demolition?

Guess what?, he also said AGAIN that he has plans for Mosley after his next fight AND Pacquiao. He signed a FIVE fight contract so I don't understand what the hell you're trying to prove with your thread.

Clottey is an unproven guy who has losses to Margarito and Baldomir and people are giving him a great chance to win, go figure. I'm a Cotto fan too but don't be delusional please. Cotto has his list of tomato cans on the record too, Branco?, Alfonso Gomez?, Urkal?, Jennings? and a brutal KO loss against hands of plaster.

Marquez is a great opponent and one people are overlooking here not because they think he's small but because they don't like Mayweather and would like to downgrade his win. I assure you if he picked Cotto people would be saying he's fighting Concreto leftovers.

End the excuses please and enjoy what's coming and what is announced to come after it. Mayweather didn't say that he's back for Marquez then retirement so cut the bull****.

Sounds like the only one making excuses up is your buddy Mayweather. Only thing I'm going to enjoy is when he loses to Pac. If he doesn't excuse himself out of that one...

Some might consider Clottey's biggest win over Zab "If He was Focused He could beat King Kong" Judah.

I've been critical of Mayweather as anyone, but that won't stop me from ordering the fight on July 18. People will be intrigued to see how he does from his lay off, thus I think the numbers will be higher what is being projected now.

I'm not claiming to be the biggest draw/best of the best at anything....

Sorry if I all I want to see is him fight the best in WW class and show what he's really about instead of hear all this talk about who's not worthy enough to step in the ring with him..
