He has had a full career and accomplished probably much more than he set out to. He has had a lot of fights and been in a lot of wars. Because he is such an important figure in the Philippines I would rather see him get out while he still has a clear head than stick around. Eventually his speed will diminish, his motivation wont be what it was, and he really needs to be 110% to hang with these big guys. Once his speed is gone (and he could get ring old overnight) things could go bad fast. I wish him the best tommorrow, I think and hope he will win. But, I would like to see him get out sooner or later, win or lose.
If Margo shocks the world and does what he did to Cotto to Manny, it just might. But you know Mayweather will really want a piece of him then, even forget about the whole OST just to get him in the ring.
I don't. If he dusts off Margarito, then the Mayweather fight must happen. Anything less would be uncivilized.
Margarito and Mayweather, that's it. All he needs. Really, he can retire now, but as for me this is all I hope for. Congressman Pacquaio has nothing left to prove.
Mayweather next year. If not go for Williams/Martinez see if he can accomplish the impossible. Either way, whatever the outcome he's great. He has given boxing fans enough already.
