**** a treadmill. Go for a run with a mate in an area you don't know. Different scenery and you don't know how far you've got to go but it doesn't matter because you don't wanna be the one who gives up. Mad fun.
There's no one to push you in the ring, just you. Which is why I like the treadmill better, it's just you and you have to push it as hard as you can go.
Yeah but you're running to get conditioned for fighting, you ain't in the ring, you're running. Don't you think it helps your mental game aswell when you don't know where you are or how far you have to go? That happens in the ring sometimes. On a treadmill you stay in one place and you always have control over what's going on and a clock in the corner, makes me want to go to sleep just thinking about it, boring. Each to their own i guess, but still, **** a treadmill. I'm not a rat, let me run outdoors.
I hate the treadmill and the exercise bike as well. I used to go running down the beach loads, but now not so much. I've definitely got to start doing some CV stuff again, but knowing what to do without losing the little muscle I've gained is ****ing confusing. Apparently sprints are best, I dunno.
Why not run on the beach again you lazy chubby poof? You live on an island for ****s sake. You won't lose muscle as long as you keep eating some protein.
Yeah I should definitely start doing it again. I go through phases and at the moment I'm enjoying the weight-lifting. In a month's time I'll be pissed of with weights and I'll be running all the time, or wanting to start up boxing or something. As long as I'm always doing something I don't really care, there's no way I've got the dedication to stick with one thing anyway.
