One of the main reasons is that Cotto has said that Arum is negotiating his next fight...which was supposed to be Canelo. Now that Canelo "moved on" how is Cotto going to negotiate a Floyd fight if Arum is involved? Yes Cotto is not tied to Bob I know... but you don't think Bob would have said something by now if Cotto had told Bob his services were no longer required? Cotto is not a shady dude...I think he would have given Bob the hook by now.

i believe arum has option on cotto's next fight for letting tr promote him against sergio. they (cotto and floyd's camp) maybe talking privately on this and i don't think arum will stand in the way. arum will still get his share.
