I just don't see how Bivol will win against Beterbiev

The only chance I can see for him to win is to fight on the outside and never let Beterbeiv get close. If he can do that he can win, but thats gonna require hella luck to keep that strategy going for 12 rounds. If Beterbiev gets up close, Bivol will have to shell up and run off. No point in fighting Beterbiev up close where he often does massive damage to the other guy if they try to exchange with him, but it seems Bivol knows this based on his past comments about why Beterbiev is tricky to fight.

Resume wise is another issue. Bivols resume is....mediocre. He's not horrible but he's definitely not great either. Beterbiev on the other hand has destroyed monsters such as Browne, Craig Richards, Gvosdyk, both Smiths, Zurdo, Yarde and more. Once he got a hold of them, that was it. Both Smiths particularly got overpowered and their both stronger than Bivol. Smith Jr particularly was able to back up Bivol and wobbled him after he got in a right at the end of one of the rounds, I forget which. Beterbiev kept pushing forward and dismantled Smith Jr in an astonishing 2 rounds. No one thought he was going to put away Smith that fast, but he did.

I see this fight ending in a stoppage for Beterbiev, probably by round 6.

I notice you called Dmitry Bivol "mediocre , not horrible ,but not great either" Do you forget he was the guy that spanked your hero Canelo Alvarez like he was a red headed stepchild. He took his soul He made him look like a journeyman Even his judge buddies couldn't muster up a draw for him but they did issue ludicrous scorecards which made the butt whupping look like a close fight. Canelo, or Quacknelo as the fans named him now, got exposed for the fraud he has always been

Beterbiev is forty, or close enough, injury prone and even in his prime against Gvozdyk he was getting lit up by The Nail. There is a chance Beterbiev won't find himself able to pull the trigger for the first two or three rounds due to age and styles.

Bivol is younger, sharper and a master at controlling the distance. This will help negate Beterbievs looping rabbit punches and allow him to set his own pace.

While I think Beterbiev will win despite his age, this post is laced with the classic anti Bivol agenda. I know for a fact you are a Canelo defender so this makes sense. I don’t understand why some of you are still so worked up by the beating Bivol gave Canelo. He’s a great fighter and there was no shame in Canelo losing to him. Bivol is a fantastic boxer and he’s got a very solid resume (Smith Jr, Zurdo, Canelo, Pascal).

I got Beterbiev as a clear favourite, but there's definitely scenarios Bivol can win. He doesn't have to hurt Beterbiev to win (which I don't think he can), given his style and footwork.

Berterbiev beat Usyk around the ring like he owed him money

Can't see Bivol holding out better.

Bivol has a massive chance. You’d be an idiot to think otherwise.

Is Zurdo still a "monster" after you see your mistake and realise it was Bivol who beat him (118-110, 117-111 x2) or is your agenda too strong?

"Bivol is a great fighter for beating Canelo"

    "Canelo is a fraud"

Usyk's gold medal. I mean I'm not going to sit here and say it was a gift like AJ's was or that French guy over Joyce but I had beeb comfortably winning rounds 2&3 to Usyks 1.

Cannot agree more, but you're banking on AB being old. If AB is good to go, then it will be the battle of the feets. DB's movement, coupled with a well timed jab, against AB's ability to cut off the ring, which allows him to be in striking distance to land power shots.

Yarde tagged him I think bivol can too

Beterbiev did renew my confidence him vs Smith plus he outlasted the boxer vs gvosdk

I lean slightly toward artur but this can go either way

This is a great fight I'm excited

How long have people been waiting for Beterbiev to get old now?
