i just found a reason why joan guzman is called little tyson!!!!

he was called little tyson because of the power he had at 122, now he is like a 130 lb version of pbf. He should change his name to little money:yep but he already change his nick anyway and he is now called sycuan warrior probably to promote his promoter sycuan promotions

 

true. I like his fighting style. Though he gets cocky a lot of times in the fight but that's just his style. His flamboyance though didn't earn him a shot at the big money fights with either pacman/jmm. I suggest that he follow pac at 135lbs then make a couple of fights then challenge pac. I just don't know if his power still holds at 135 though. But just by being a damn good boxer, he could definitely give pac a hell of a fight, win or lose.

 

He looks like Mike Tyson. I mean his face, specially when he smiles.

 

Joan's got tons of skill but I don't see why they compare him to Tyson????

Maybe they call him little Tyson because he has only a little of Tyson's power. :think

Guzman is built like a tank. I wonder how much longer he is going to make 130lbs.

 

HE is too big for 130, that is why he can't be hurt.

Once he goes up to 135, that lack of KO power plus the size of his opponents will limit his effectivity.

 

Guzman's made out of steel, look at that titanium, robot-esque jaw line!

 

That, plus the fact that he weighs around 140-47 in fight nights in 130 division helps him a lot to withstand the punishment.
