I just realized the "low blow" controversy was stupid the whole time?

because what's not to say Usyk doesn't get up on time...he might be in pain but we can't say for certain he doesn't get up

of course he's going to stay on the ground and milk it if the ref rules a low blow

    am i right?

Not too swift on the uptick are you? Most of us realized that, oh... the moment it started.

You cannot excuse cheating with assuming "he would have won without the cheat anyway" since it makes rules in sports baseless . That is true for every sport .

Yeah, rules are there for a reason. There is no excuse for Dubois landing almost 20 low blows in that fight without a warning. The karma got him tho, twice.

Usyk said himself that he could have got up within the count if it wasn't ruled a low blow.

Usyk cheating? By staying down and 'milking' it?
If you demand of him to instantly get up and fight on after a low blow just because he can you are asking him to take the full disadvantage of getting hit in the nuts.

Bad enough that he got hit illegally with a blow (and many before that) you can't defend against, you want him not to take the time he is allowed to at least soften over the blow?

There is a rule for how long you can take to regenerate in these cases. And not taking the time necessary is like jumping up (or trying to) instantly after you got knocked down. It is not professional.

Low blows can change fights. Just recently saw in in an amateur fight. I hated to see that as the better fighter almost lost because of it.

No , by actoring that he got hurt by a nutshot .
Usyk does not carry his nuts at the beltline and even kabayels trainer says the shot was ok . Kabayels trainer knows a bit about body shots .

He didn't have the look of a man who could have gotten up within a 10 count.

If you judge it as "on the belt line" and not "below the belt" it remains controversial because it should be ruled a knockdown. That's all.
