Morales fans need to realise that its convenient to say that Morales was shot, but what if Pac is really better than Morales, but had a bad outing the first time because he was moving up in weight and got a nasty cut early in the fight. What can he do to prove he is better than Morales? He can do nothing more than rematch him and dominate him.

Even in the first fight, if Pac does not get that nasty ass cut and if he is not moving up in weight, there are chances that his relentless pressure will be more effective and will overwhelm Morales and then maybe he could knock him out or at least knockdown, maybe turning the tide of the fight.

Are these excuses? sure. But who will say that moving up in weight does not affect a fighter? we all know it does. Same thing goes for having a cut above your eye with blood pouring into it. imo Pac did what he had to do, which is rematch Morales, and beat him convincingly

Well im not debating Morales was in his prime, but the way ya'll are acting like Pacquiao deserves no credit for the win. If Morales chose not to fight a Pacquiao rematch and fought other elites he'd still be active now and would have his 4th title in a different weight class.

as is saying that a prime Morales would destroy a prime Pacquiao, when he only beat him 1 out of 3 times, and only by 2 points.

Johnco..will you just let the guy enjoy his fixation on Erik Morales?

I'm sure things would have been different had Morales fought Pac before the blueprint was laid by JMM.
