Yeah, I've sent him one or two messages on twitter which he thanked me for. He's a stand up guy. Has a horrible taste in music though.
Pauli's being drastically underrated. He looked sharper than ever in his last fight. Tough fight for anyone at JWW. Anyone.
Paulie's a Mayweather fanboy and a ****-talker with consistently ludicrous hair stylings. I hope he fights Pacquiao and gets his jaw punched the **** off.
Very Cool!!! Always nice to see when a guy like Paulie will stop on the street and talk for a minute and get a quick picture. I've always been a big Paulie fan, love his slick style. Hopefully Malignaggi makes big waves in 2010!
I am so jealous. What a champ.....what heart. Maybe Paulie will come to New Hampshire one of these days..... Magic-Man ftw....
Malignaggi has really grown on me over the past few years. He is willing to face anyone and I'd like to see him land a big fight or two this year. He's a handful for anyone in the division.
You guys made some good points about Paulie's lack of authoritative punching power. Back when he fought Cotto I thought he could have won if he had a bit more power. Look at the other end of the spectrum. Take guys like Abraham, Pavlik, Froch, and Bute. Those guys can change the course of a fight, or end a fight, with a few well placed shots, and all along the way they can give a mother****er a choice: "You show me massive respect, or I will knock your ass out." Paulie does not have that option. He has to use his skills and his brain to win. Paulie with serious fire power behind him would a pretty amazing fighter.
paulie would be rich, he got a million dollar pay day against hatton and has had a couple of fights on HBO and showtime.
