Boxers never seem to mention the fighters that knocked them out as the biggest punchers they ever faced. Must be an ego thing.

Vitali would clown Tyson & KO him out earlier than Douglas did.

Or he might've made vitali quit a whole lot earlier than Byrd did.

More they don't remember feeling it!

Boxers don't remember feeling the ones that knocked them out.

Plus gettng caught perfectly is different from having general power. All hw's hit hard so if you get hit perfectly you go down, but Lewis probably means from the general punch power i.e. the ones that hit him on the arms or didn't knock him out were hardest from Mercer.

I guess that explains why he also ducked a rematch against Mercer. Especially since it was a very questionable decision.

The hardest puncher may have been Razor Rudduck. But Razor never got to land on Lennox!

Ofcourse he won't mention vitali, vitali made him finish his career and is biggest dosgrace in lewis career. If lewis would say now that vitali is the biggest puncher he ever met, even biggest lewis nuthuggers would realise he was scared of vitali.

I saw both Tyson vs Ruddock fights the other day. Those were some awesome exchanges. Those were the last fights I remember seeing Tyson throwing body shots in, and man if they weren't some awesome shots. Tyson also ate bombs in that fight.

i dont think lewis was afraid of vitali i think lewis just realized that he was old during and after that fight. the way he slumped into his stool in the sixth round you could tell he had enough.

i had vitali in that fight at around +250. if he wasnt cut i think he would've ko'd lewis.

    lewis had nothing left.
