I doubt Eddie Hearn would've put Barker in against GGG for the same amount he got to fight Sturm.

    Fights which Macklin LOST.

Like I said, I'm not so sure Golovkin's victory over Macklin is better than Wilder's victory over Liakhovich.

At the very least, Wilder is beating up on other HEAVYWEIGHTS. Golovkin so far has made a career out of fighting jr middleweights...

Fighting a top ten cruiser weight would be a massive step up in class of opponent for Wilder. How sad is that?

I wouldn't bet the farm on Wilder, yet. He's definitely someone I've been watching for a while, and has some great qualities, but I see some things that are still open questions, and he may not have the greatest chin. I can't wait to see him in with some top guys, though, I like watching him, and I'll likely be rooting for him in all of his fights... he's from my home state, and I gotta support that... even though I went to Auburn and he's from Tuscaloosa, home of Univ. of Alabama. :good

As far as GGG goes, he's been trying to step up for years, but people have been diving out of his path ever since he was the mandatory for Sturm, who Sturm refused to fight. Geale gave up the belt rather than fight GGG. Murray's turned down at least 2 fights with GGG. Lou DiBella said on video he doesn't want Sergio to fight him, Hearns said on video he's too dangerous for the money he commands, etc, etc, etc. So are all of these guys on GGG's payroll as part of his hype machine? Why do I bother trying to educate people when they don't listen?

Yeah. I will admit, Macklin looked worn out in his last fight.

How is fact revisionist? Should I not trust what's reported by the alphabet governing bodies, ESPN, and their own promoters on YouTube in videos? Uhhhhhh... I have never, ever claimed GGG belongs on a P4P list. Never. Actually, you can look it up in my posts, I said anyone with GGG on a P4P should be questioned. Who's being a revisionist? Sounds like you. :patsch

P.S. If you think GGG is a puncher with no boxing skills, you're an idiot. I submit the 345-5 amateur record--one of the best in history. That takes boxing skill. I guess we shouldn't trust that either? I guess me stating his record was 345-5 is revisionist, too?
