That's probably the worst reason to say Chavez wins. At least give some insight into what Chavez could do technically, that would lead him to a KO win. Size isn't enough.

Chavez has a punch and Golovkin is there to be hit.

People are up in here as if Golovkin is the second coming of Sugar Ray Leonard. I got news for you, he isn't. To me, it's looking more and more like this guy is a fraud. He's made a career out of beating up on a string of BUMs, STIFFs, TOMATO CANs, No Hopers and NEVER WEREs - conning HBO and the boxing public in the process - while refusing to get in the ring with someone who has a pulse. And please, miss me with all that "everone @ 160 is ducking him" crap. If he's so damned good that everyone @ 160 is afraid of him then he should do what good fighters have always done - move up. Lots of guys @ 168 who I'm sure would love the opportunity to knock his hyped up ass out...

Chavez will chatch you if you pull back from him.....thats how he caught that old Argentine.

GG instictively pulls-out with his hands down.

What happens if GG can't move forward..Can he box going backwards?
    Not from what I've seen.

Another thing is Jr's body attack.GG can dish it out but can he take it?
He doesn't appear to be built for punishment..not with those puny legs and scrawny neck.

Don't lump me in with those people. I like Golovkin and believe he is the goods. Don't come at me with all the other arguments that people are making for him. We aren't talking about that. All I'm saying is that if someone as crude as Vera can push him back against the ropes, I believe GGG will have no problem doing the same. He can be hit, yes, but he's not actually getting hit that cleanly. A punch can only mean so much when you don't know how to properly set it up.

even lennox lewis (among many other professionals) has praised golovkins talent, saying he was clever and powerful, but i guess you hater muppets know better.

Funny how GG isn't required to "challenge himself" by moving up like certain fighters are.

It's easy to look clever and powerful in a dead division.

If Lewis had said GG needs to step up the comp you'd be hating on him.

eww, don't compare G to sugar ray leonard. leonard NEVER took risks unless he had to or calculated the odds in his favor, except for the first duran fight. triple G does it every single fight without ever really needing to. he could stay outside and jab with an occasional straight right and win fights easily without any risk if he wanted, but he's relentlessly looking for the knockout. you hater have no appreciation for a true boxing weapon.

really, cause sturm and martinez didn't look all that clever against macklin to me. G rolled him up like a chump. macklin said G was by far the best he had ever fought.

Golovkin not getting hit that cleanly is due more to the quality of his oppostition - or lack thereof. He's being protected something ridiculous.

Lets see what happens when he's put in the ring with someone who has a pulse and knows how to fight...

    Lol.

Don't worry, I won't ever compare Golovkin to Leonard seeing as there are NO comparisons to be made. One is an ATG and the other is the product of a hype machine ran overtime...

It's more subtleties but we both want to see him face better comp, that we can agree on. I'll give him 6 more months with the possibility of facing Martinez. If that fight doesn't happen or look like it's going to happen, then it's time for him to move up. No one else at 160 gives him problems. I think he'll do just fine at 168.

He is what he is. He is rightfully recognized as the top MW contender. Sergio needs to fight him, not the other way around. If Sergio can't defend against him, he needs to retire. If GGG can't get Sergio, he should probably explores other avenues as other shut out contenders have been forced to do, not fair but nothing new.

People saying GGG is all hype or the greatest are equally baseless, we just don't know.
