Benn is one of my 3 favourite fighters.

The most exciting fighter to come out of England.

IDK but boxing in general doesn't really produce fighters of that mentality anymore, not just GB.

Froch is a warrior who comes to hurt you.

I loved watching Benn fight - he looked as though he was trying to end the fight with every punch. Much like Gatti, he was most dangerous when he was hurt.

I've got his career set on dvd - stick in any disc and you're guaranteed entertainment.

yeah, but he has not that kind of power where you are not allowed to blink.

But there are great fighters right now who could step in his shoes like imo sillakh, gennady triple ggg golovkin (if he gets the chance he will even ko martinez), and my favourite rakhim chakhiev. I know this guys are all eastern european but they have the will to **** up their opponent and they carry the power and the style to entertain

do you think Benn laughs at the state of boxing today? and some dumbass will look up boxrec one day and see 25 defenses of the WBA middleweight title and argue he would OWN Nigel Benn......:rofl

I miss benn....he would have wrecked this division.....so would Eubank

let's hope tripple G Golovkin gets his fights, then we will see a new undisputed middleweight champion of the world

He was an exciting fighter and was much more popular than Eubank. But any elite boxer with defensive kudos gives him nightmares. He struggled badly against a good counterattacking plan.
Watson's performance is one of my greatest early boxing memories.I felt I was starting to understand the game more when none of my friends at school were able to discuss the finer points of the fight. It was a landmark moment during my early discovery of my love for boxing.
Everyone at school loved Benn.I liked Eubank,Watson and Toney a bit later on.(meaning that division only)

The guy had balls of steel and punched like a mule, thats a winning combo in my book lol.
I used to have a load of his fights saved in my megaupload account :(
