Yeah Benn was quality. He reminds me of Tommy Hearns a bit, not in style but in the fact he could be hurt, Benn always fought like a lion especially when he was hurt, and wore his heart on his sleeve. I didn't Like Eubank at the time and watched him to get beaten after my beating my boys Benn & Watson.

Benn was tough and exciting. But he was stopped by Mike Watson, who was almost the exact same age and had almost the exact same experience when they fought. He was also stopped by Chris Eubank,as well as Steve Collins(when Benn was past it). He(as well as Gerald McClellan)is overrated.

It's a real testament to him too, that he took that embarrassing schooling and KO and came back to really learn from it, where so many overhyped youngsters would have just faded away. That told me a lot about him, about how really mentally tough he was.

nigel benn fought like an animal, he was a true fighter and warrior at heart. i think his style had a lot to do with the rage built up inside of him. i know his older brother had died when he was younger, and there was a lot of racism directed towards him when he was growing up in a predominately white community.

yup, very exciting dude!!! Eubank was better though. Also his chin wasn't very good. Also Sergio is all wrong for him style wise but his significant size advantage might make it closer....still Sergio's movement likely leads to a loss for Benn

Eubank, Watson, Collins, Mccallum, Kalambay, Nunn, Toney, Jones >> Benn. I'd take a prime Jackson and Mcclellan over him too. Not sure about Graham. Very exciting style for sure though.

:bloodYep let's just look at his losses and call him **** eh!

It woulda been easier and more truthful to say "I don't like him".

As with Gerald McClellan,I'm neither a fan nor a hater.I'm being truthful.Just where did I call him "****" due to his losses?Just where? You have a problem with the fact that I listed his (ko) losses, lol? You would have been truthful had you written,"I hate it when people bring up the truth about my hero Nigel Benn's losses,so I will write untruths about said people to try to misrepresent them."Guess what?It didn't work.
