I just watched Adamek-Arreola again tonight

It's quite easy to look fast in front of Arreola, because he was a big fat slob. It's no coincidence that he couldn't land much on the older fading Vitali...

 

Totally agree with you. I'd bet on him to beat anyone apart from the Ks. The judging for the Arreola fight was very poor, and gave the impression it was close. In reality Adamek won almost every round, and the only success Arreola had was with manhandling/wrestling Adamek.

 

Arreola caught Adamek cleanly anly a couple of times the whole bout, the rematch would look exactly the same: Adamek outworking the slower Arreola with combos, moving both ways and avoid being hit. He's got no chance of flooring Arreola, but would win again by a decision, and it's irrelevent that Arreola lost 20 lbs since the first fight, he's still not quick enough to catch Adamek

 

That's not so much to do with speed as with VK's much more savvy defense, though.

 

Kenmore i agree with everything except about his punches. He did an awful lot of damage to Arreola's face for supposed pitty pat shots. He does hit and move and might not sit down quite as much as is possible but he does plant and throw hard shots imo.

Because of the weight loss and i suspect a little loss in punching power i would expect a rematch to be slightly easier for Adamek. They're talking about a rematch but it is a stupid position for Chris to put himelf in imo. Volodymyr offered him a fight this past Dec in NYC that he turned down and now he fights Adamek, if he loses which is a real possibility then he's set himself back and will have to make a whole new title run again. He should have took the Dec title shot, better for him and we wouldnt have to witness a Mormeck title shot.

 

Arreola ain't ready for Wlad. He would get crushed. He needs to poove himself as title shot worthy now imo.

Don't know why anyone would use the Vitali fight to disprove Adamek's abilities (kenmore didn't) because who really looks dominant against him?

Adamek is one of those fighters that make me wish the Crusier limit was 210 pounds. I know he can make 200, but guys like Tomaz would be better served at a slightly higher weight.

I'm talking from a career management standpoint if you are Chris, not as a fan. He's likely throwing away a career high payday and if he loses again to Tomasz on HBO they could give up on him for good and he become a title shot gatekeeper with guys like Boytsov, Abdusalamov, Glazkov, Szpilka, Price, Chisora, Rivas making a name off him on their way to a title shot and payday that he foolishly screwed himself out of.

Objectively his best bet at grabbing a title is to wait for Vitali to retied so the WBC belt is vacant and then having crooked mexicunt Jose Sulaiman undeservingly hand Chris a vacant title fight and secure "HW boxing history" by affirmative actioning a Mexican HW "Champion". Wouldn't be shocked if the vacant title fight is Arreola vs Rahman or Austin or some **** lol

 

Boystov would put on a beatdown on adafake, Russians have always been superior to Pollacks.

 

Where do you see enough advantage to turn it into a beatdown?
