No worries max, btw I wasnt trying to say Kessler v Andrade was better than Calzaghe v lacy, I just thought they were two similar dominating performances from the two champs.

Well, your confidence is high Max, especially with yer latest avatar:D But even a big Joe fan like you must be having a wee worry about this fight here & there? Cos this Kessler guys a bit of a monster. If a 35 year old Calzaghe can tame this prime danish beast, it will be an awesome win for Joe. Off the richter scale & all that.

Calzaghe's going to **** Kessler up bad. I agree with you Dunky that Kessler is an amazing specimen, but he has a stylistic flaw that is minor against most fighters, but severe against Calzaghe.

That would be his need to reset when under fire. Calzaghe will shred him to pieces because Kessler will grow tenative as he cannot control the pace/fight like this.

Alot of people wanted to discredit Kessler for not stopping Andrade but it's not his fault that the guy's got a steel chin. He hit him with everything but the kitchen sink in that fight and won pretty much every round. What else can u ask for?

I don't buy into this confidence that the die-hard Calzaghe fans are showing cuz I know that they're nervous deep down. They're looking for flaws in the guy that may be manufactured. It's a pick 'em fight as far as I'm concerned. I might lean a little towards Joe but I could just as easily see Kessler winning. He's that good.

Difference (for me) is as a calzaghe fan Ive been here before. Pre-Lacy vwery few people predicted a Calzaghe whitewash, it was very muc a 50-50 fight. Has Kessler been in such a high pressure environment before?

I'm confident, I've analysed this bout in and out. Kessler's getting shredded.

I'm not concerned in the slightest.:p

I agree with you 100% amsterdam - kessler may be fast but his flaw is when he goes back he waits for the other person to get tired then attacks - unfortunately hell have to wait along time cus calzaghe wont stop!!!

    KESSLER WILL BE SHREDDED
:happy5 days to go I just cannot wait

It's more of Kessler needing to reset to take back control when under fire, which creates excessive tenativeness because I feel he absolutely hates to be hit, even though I also feel his chin is very good.

Calzaghe will take some to land some, Kessler will not do so, he will stay out of danger and reset when he has distance and control again, he will commense with his area of boxing brilliance.

Kessler can defeat anyone where he can control the pace, he cannot against Calzaghe, it's just a major stylistic difference. I'm not concerned about this bout, I'm just excited to see how impressively Calzaghe's going to shred this guy to ****ing pieces.:yep

Two of my good friends will be near the ring also, shame I couldn't make it, Calzaghe's my all time favourite fighter, though I did happen to catch the Lacy fight live with good seats.:D

Dunky mate I agree. Sorry I have been away for a while on business.

I think this fight is a toss up and could go either way. If Calzaghe wins decisively then he will be viewed along with Roy Jones and James Toney as the greatest super middleweight in history. If pushed I will pick Kessler to win however this is not one I am putting my money on compared to PBF versus Hatton which I am happy to stake serious money. In fact should Hatton win I will emigrate from the UK which shows how confident I am PBF will do a number on Hatton.

Cotto versus Mosley is another tough one to call though I am edging ever so slightly towards Cotto.

Ajose knocked out a Spanish kid in 3 rounds on the Jamie Moore versus Andrew Facey bill. As you Witter and Hatton were in the arena that night so I don't expect they will give us a voluntary defence we need to get the WBC mandatory position.

OLU - you gonna lose some serious money then - the book is already written - Hatton will reign!!!
