I have a lot more knowledge of boxing, and it's been around forever - it's my favorite sport, but I like watching the UFC too. Don Frye > The world
I remember on one of the early UFC's some idiot showed up with a Boxing glove on one hand or some **** like that. What kind of a moron would do something like that?
You wouldn't be saying that when one of these guys has you pinned down smashing elbows in your face, breaking your arm and making you tap out like a little schoolgirl would you?
yep, boxing has fallen so far that you have to try to get a trailer park series to find guys that will actually fight each other.:yep
Yet highly entertaining. As far as entertainment value UFC#2 and UFC#6 are pure gold. Check 'em out! :good Oh and the Keith Hackney (Ninjitsu) -vs- Yarborough (Sumo) brawl in UFC #3 I think was pretty ****ing awesome.
Oh - remember UFC #4 where Joe San (Kimo's trainer) entered the UFC and got hit with the most wicked nutsack punch punishment ever recorded? :scaredas::scaredas::scaredas::scaredas::scaredas: [YT]z4iZ-NEz-mg[/YT] Dude got smashed in the balls at least a dozen times consecutively. :scaredas:
:rofl I remember watching that **** on DVD a few years back. What a weird ****ing fight. Was like a circus back then.
i loved watching the circus that was the first few UFC's. i remember when they brought in sumo wrestlers, taekwando'ist, savate'ist, karatitian, tough guys, shoot wrestlers etc...... now everyone specializes in everything, but back then a lot these guys did'nt know what to do when they hit the ground. like hotti said there's a lot of old pride fc fights in youtube. try searching for some old fedor fights, watching the best is a good way to get into MMA. check his pride fc fights against randleman, coleman and fujita.
