I knew Floyd would find a way to back out. Pac should ditch him and fight Mosley

Do you seriously think Shane Mosley will allow himself to be kept from a Pacquiao fight on the basis of Golden Boy's ties to Mayweather, if he thinks there is even the slightest chance of him fighting Pac?? I'd say there is more of chance of Floyd Sr winning the Nobel Prize for Literature. Mosley would rather leave Golden Boy than have to fight guys like Berto and Clottey till he retires. If Floyd won't fight Pac on the drug test excuse, Mosley will move heaven and earth to step into the breach, regardless of whether he has to cancel the Berto fight and fight Pac in March, or get Berto out of the way and have the Pac fight in August.

The problem is that both parties agreed to addtional testing. I think the fines and penalties levied by the commission for not making weight is sufficient. However, Pac requested addtional punsihment and Mayweather agreed. Now if Mayweather tried to back track on that agreement, I would have a problem with that as well.

Its seems that the problem is comming from floyd then isnt? Its him who asked for this additional test based on the baseless accusation.

I dont know, I just hope all this are just made up to hype up the fight. I dont think is right to point fingers at pac without any proof whatsoever.

Mosley declinded to fight Mayweather in Nov. of 2006. Appeasing Hoya was one reason he gave for doing so. Realistically, Mosley can get similar money fighting Mayweather than he can with Pacquiao. So why would he wait longer to take the chance on a more unrealisitc fight with Pacquiao? Let's also not forget that Golden Boy has stated that Pac must comply with olympic style testing in the event that he takes on any of their fighters. Pacquiao is ****ed here. Golden Boy knows how much money they stand to lose if the Mayweather/Pac fight doesn't happen. They will use all of their power and influence to force Pacquiao to comply.

  6. Pac's the one backing out. He's a spoiled brat and Roach is responsible. He always has to have his way.

It's not about right or wrong. It's about what is and isn't. What is, is that Top Rank already agreed to the testing. Pacquiao would face a PR nightmare if he pulled out of the fight over stricter drug testing that his promotional company already agreed to. And no one is going to buy his reasoning that the testing will mentally affect him.

Not really as it can be argued the promotional company agreed to take the terms to him which he didnt accept. That is fair. The mayweathers keep changing demands. Manny should ask for a bigger split and make demands of his own.

Really I think they need to scap all these catch weights and testing issues. Stick to what the commissions have ordered. Iff not happy get them to change the boxing rules and no complaints. But then Pac and Mayweather fight may have to wait

Yes, but that was because Oscar had an eye on a fight with Floyd, and Oscar himself is out of the equation now. No chance will Oscar upset Mosley to appease Mayweather. If Pac won't comply with this pathetic demand, I believe Mosley will step in, and the drug test demand will be shelved. Also, I don't think Floyd would fight Mosley anyway. He's much more likely to rematch Ricky Hatton at Wembley. Big money, little risk. Time will tell who is right, I suppose.

There was an interview with pac saying he doesnt want any blood taken too close (I think he said a day) to the fight and thats all. He seems happy with eveything else though.

I think its arum and roach that are telling something else.

What do you think is the reason why Mayweather fought Marquez when he unretired, instead of Mosley?

    Because he wants Pacquaio.

Anyway, Pacquiao has more options than Mayweather. You know that very well.
