Norwood and John are nearly universally considered robberies. Barrera and Pacquiao are ATG's. Diaz and Katsidis were both younger, one was faster, the other harder hitting, and both bigger. Casamayor is a HOFer who had never been stopped.

You can pick apart any fighters resume like that, if you're biased enough.

Manny: Morales was shot, Barrera was past it, Cotto was drained and had no corner, Mosley was shot, Margarito was never any good without plaster, etc.

Mayweather: Ortiz only beat hype-job Berto, Hatton was a natural Junior-Welter, DLH was past-it, Mosley was old, Judah always caves, etc.

Unlike many idiots here I'd rather celebrate fighters. One thing you can say about JMM is that he fought against top ranked contenders and champions at their best with an array of size and age disadvantages of his own more often than Floyd and Manny did when they sat on the #1 spot of the pound for pound list.

 

to erase doubt of you being biased, you should also put in there that Marquez requested a catchweight on both Mayweather and Pac instead of putting too much credit towards Marquez and pulling both Pac and Mayweather down in the the process.

You mean the catch-weight that Mayweather didn't even make, and the 144 stipulation against the "natural 140-pounder" who "eats like a horse" just to make 145 on fight night? JMM isn't even a natural lightweight.
