I know it was a while back, but didn't Wlad own AJ in sparring?

We all saw how relaxed and confident Wlad was when he entered the ring with Joshua. What does he know that we don't? And they it dawned on me.

Wlad owned him when the sparred. I think this happened around the time Wlad blew away Pulev.

Wlad has declined noticeably since then.

    And AJ improves quickly

Wladimir is looking for a last big pay day. He knows that they will break any PPV records in the UK and fighting in fron of 90000 people. He knows he can not win, but he can probably make around 20 Million Dollar from this fight, with advertisement, PPV sales etc.

Wlad was famed for going through sparring partners like nobodies business,AJ was very green then and did his job apparently so I wouldn't read too much into that

Wlad will be confident walking in the ring, he has been his whole career in top shape and is probably still the most dangerous puncher on the planet. He had trouble landing his power shots on Jennings and Fury, who are both good movers and hard to hit. Joshua has a robotic style and doesn't know how to react when he gets hit flush by a power shot. He does not move his head and does not have the athleticism nor the skills to box circles around Klitschko. I am almost 100% sure we will see Klitschko win by KO, he simply has too much experience.

YES, BUT.....It's pretty easy to look good vs bad title opponents, isn't it?

Parker was highly thought of until he barely beat Ruiz. See my point? Who has AJ beaten? No one as good as Ruiz. The best fighters AJ fought were in the amateurs. It's true. He has been very protected on the way up, beating has beens on a losing streak or older fighters. As champion he fought non top ten level guys with limited ability.

If his management wanted it, he would have faced tougher opposition. But they are babying him too much. Why? Joshua could have MCI. MCI = major chin issues. He hasn't faced punchers at all, not even on the fringe contender level. Wlad can still hit.

My best guess is Wlad is hungry again, and have sparred and done well vs AJ is a reason why he's looks very confident and relaxed.

Wlad ' s jab hold strategy will not work on Joshua. Wlad has very little defence and relies on soft referees to allow him to hold and wrestle. Wlad ' s best win is probably Haye, who's an undersized HW, Joshua size, power and aggressive style will blow through old man Klitschko. Confident of a Joshua KO of old man Wlad.

Who said that? Wlad sparred with Wilder and easily Ko'd him by the way. Word is Wlad dominated Joshua and took it easy on him

yeah I hear you but the trouble with these type of reports is they are always subjective and often very subjective.

that said I don't doubt that Wlady may have got the better of AJ when they sparred.

Would anyone be surprised a seasoned veteran, who was at the time still pretty close to his peak, would school a novice? I mean, why wouldn't he?

And PS: it was sparring. Reading too much into sparring is like saying a girl's whose a good kisser is gonna be a great lay...

At the end of the day it's just sparring. In April, is when it counts.
