Yeah, I actually gave him a good chance against Haye too.
About 95% of this forum says Haye destroys him, certainly did in 2013/'14 anyway.

I just find it strange that he's being given a greater chance against Wlad, even allowing for "styles make fights".

I believe he has a slight chance against Wlad, I believe almost anyone might beat Wlad, because when a fighter is 39 years old and been champion so long, the chances of him losing to any random challenger increases greatly.
But if Wlad's even 60% or 70% of his best I reckon he knocks Fury out quite brutally.

 

It could come down to who lands a big one first and Wlad might capitulate a la Sanders whereas Fury probably won't.

Wlad may find it hard to keep a big lump like Fury off. Also Fury's boxing much better now and won't be so easy a target as he has been, especially given Wlad's over cautiousness.

I honestly think it can go either way but I'd lean towards Wlad on points. I'd love to be wrong though because I really can't stand to watch him 'fight' anymore.

 

If STEVE CUNNINGHAM can land, put Tyson ON HIS BACK and STUN him, Wlad will hospitalise Tyson - And I for one can't wait to see it!

 

That Cunningham could do that is one thing, but that featherfisted Pajkic could do the exact same thing with the exact same punch to Fury causes a lot more concern. And then we have the only slightly decent tall HW on Fury's resume, Firtha (also with not much power) who also lands the exact same punch and really hurts Fury with it.

Fury is a sucker for the right hand and that's Wlad's moneypunch. That's why almost everyone here said he was cannonfodder for Haye (overhand right), but he is British and Wlad isn't.

Wlad to demolish Fury within 6 rounds. Couple of knockdowns and Fury to be sparked out cold. Think it will go like Clev VS Kovalev.

Fury should have had 3-4 fight vs tall rangey fighters. He should have fought Ustinov even if it was rescheduled.

Hope Iam wrong but Fury has no chance in my opinion and has zero punch power vstye elite

Easy for Wlad. Fury will never get past the job, nor will he get over the fact that the laser jab is the hardest shot he will have taken in his career, and it will keep coming over and over again.
