Trash talking sells. Why fighters/athletes get most of their recognition is portraying themselves to be arrogant therefore more people will watch them mainly to see them fail. Whatever side they feel of that portrayed character, what stands is that they're still giving money to put in that person's pocket despite "hating" them.

Don't know why people like characters so much(blame great playwriters) but people tend to give more attention towards the portrayed bad-ass. Hence "portrayed" as its a character used to sell fights and not the true representation of the fighter as a person. Ali knew this. Tyson knew this. Nobody wants to see two people respectful towards each other in the fight buildup, they want drama to add to the promotion of the fight. Drama=$$$$$, just look at the dumb stuff on tv that gets marketed that has nothing but loudmouths fighting and drinking lol.

BTW, love watching Martinez and Chavez is getting my respect even more since the Lee fight. Sucks he waited so long to step his compo up but guy comes to fight but Martinez skill threw him off it seems. Will see the fight sometime after I finish my rime-consuming schoolwork tomorrow.

At first I wasn't into the whole Sexy Sergio thing. I thought you guys were a bunch of ***gots. But then I realized that everytime I watch a Martinez fight I always find myself wondering how a man could possibly be this attractive and G, wondering whilist touching myself of course.
