Come on man, you mention the guys Oscar fought and claim they were "shot" or whatever, who the hell can you compare with ANYONE in that list with the fighters Margarito fought?

Please man, Margarito is a good fighter and he's the top Welterweight right now but I've been saying this for a long time, he's no "Test if you're a legend" type of opponent people are making him out to be, that's just way out of the line and ridiculous. His only major victory came recently against Cotto and the insane hype surrounding him all comes thanks to Mayweather moving to Welterweight and being the #1 hated fighter right after RJJ lost, pretty much the same hype that surrounded Vivian Harris and in the EXACT same way, no hype whasoever based on accomplishment because if you look properly into what Margarito has done at the time there's NOTHING worth mentioning.

As I said, he's a good fighter who's making boxing interesting and I respect him for that, though his fans promoting him as the Hagler of the era or most feared human being on the planet is pure bull**** especially with two guys that already beat him being active and more interested in rematches than him.

 

Tell your boy Gloden thong to grow some ball's and man up and fight Margo:deal

I agree Margarito is a FAR better opponent but let's check out the REALLY important BUSINESS part of boxing, who's name is bigger at this point?, who would guarantee more attraction, money and PPV buys?

dlh can outpoint him and possibly stop him. cotto had no problem finding margos jaw and body he just did not have the strength to stun margo or put him on the defensive, hoya does. anyone who thinks margo will walk through oscars punches like he did cotto is giving margos chin too much credit.
oscar is bigger, stronger an a world class boxer and I dont see margo able to ko him, and in my opinion, that is the only way margo can win.
