Ok guys, let's be serious here. I'm on the current I hate Oscar bandwagon at the moment too. But had not Mayweather retired, had not this fight with Pac happened, Margarito would just be considered an average opponent where Oscar would be the favorite. That's what he was considered before the cotto fight now suddenly he's the greatest boxer around! The man throws and misses so many punches its only gonna take the right boxer/puncher to knock him out, believe me.

I know I'm hoping he returns for a big fight but if he doesn't then I can understand, the man has accomplished more than these top guys you mentioned all combined. :good

Paul Williams would beat Margarito again.

Yup, that's why all the Margarito fans keep coming with that "Williams has to fight Quintana again" bull**** to keep Williams tied up and stop him from cutting short Margarito's day in the sun too early for their tastes.:good

if Floyd comes back I hope its soon, if he comes back to fight Tony, if he stays out too long that may play a role in the fight should he come back to fight Margarito, its better for the fans and for Floyd if this happens soon.

Oscar is very weak around his stomach. That's why he's always been an abuser of the cup. Remember Hopkins isn't a big hitter and he hit DLH with one body shot. Just one. Perfect placement or not it was one lone bodyshot.

Now if that fight wasn't fixed I'm led to believe that Margarito would make DLH quit or drop him on body shots. Too hard, too many punches and too much stamina for DLH to work with. DLH would look good for a little while but Margarito would bull his way in and tag that body. After enough rounds of that and DLH eating hard right hands on his button nose he'll call it quits. Or he'll end up on his knees. One of the two.

And please don't compare DLH and Santos. Santos was sculpted at 170lbs while DLH looked like the pillsbury doughboy at 160. Weight and how you hold it plays a big part in taking body shots.

Not these days. At his peak, Oscar would've taken him to school.

I'd make Margo the favorite, but I would not be surprised to see Oscar take a close decision, or even get a late TKO.

Its getting a bit silly all this Margarito praise as though he is unbeatable. Guys he is 2-1 in his last three fights......he can be beaten.

Personally i think DLH would do a number on Margo.

In this fight Margo is not the bigger man, and DLH hits hard enough for Margo to not just walk in. Also DLH is the better boxer, cleaner and faster puncher.

I would say DLH wide UD.
