You want a super featherweight... You got it!

You want a guy whose shot to ****... You got it!

You want a guy who, at his best, never got above British level... You got that too!

    It's bollocks.

Rees was ideal... young, just held a title at 140... I'm pissed off.

Why else would Warren have put him in with Khan then?

I haven't seen him fight, but looking at his record on boxrec, I'd guess he is well on the slide...no?

Don't know about him beating Khan but he will deffo test his infighting. We haven't seen Khan fight on the inside and Gomez may take him to the trenches.

Apparently, according to Gomez's trainer Bobbie Rimmer, this fight is a done deal and will happen, I've read on another site.

    Urgh.

Would have preferred to see him fight Rees.

I would really look forward to this fight, i have always liked gomez. Anyway someone will get knocked out early in this one. I had money on haye to win in 2 vs enzo and backed it up with a little insurance by betting the same for enzo i will be doing something similar here, maybe in 3 though i won a right few quid the last time!

It will be a f*cking miracle if Gomez wins this fight. Johanneson beat Gomez, at least make that fight. Although even that would be sh*t.

This is the most embarrassing opponent of Khan's career, because of what he's supposed to be on the verge of, Campbell et al, this is pathetic. A shot guy who wasn't ever world class, even European level.

It'll be big in the Manchester area though.
And you never know what Gomez might pull out of the bag.

Khan is supposed to be fighting for a world title, but at least this will be "big in the Manchester area". Brilliant.

A couple of months back it was a case of win against Krtistjansen and then fight - Diaz, Campbell etc. Now he's meant to be fighting the empty shell of Michael Gomez. WTF is Warren doing?

True, but it's where he's from, and it will earn him respect.
