I know that stare downs don't mean anything, but...

    ...GGG looked pretty real in that stare down. I gotta say. He looked serious.

    Canelo, I don't even know what the hell he was looking at. He was looking all over the place like he forgot where he was.

    Anyway, just an observation. Not sure who's going to win the fight, but did think it was interesting that Ward picked GGG. I think Ward might be the smartest fighter in the game at the moment, so it's always smart to hear his perspective because you can see it in his game.

    Maybe Ward says that because he imagines that GGG is going to head-but, elbow, rabbit punch and bludgeon the gonads.

    Well, it's hard for me personally see that expression as a reflection of a soulless, cruel person in the case of Gennady because of the basic decency he projects otherwise. But then again only God can read the innermost thoughts. So who knows-you might be right.

    BTW
    What I see is regretful determination at accomplishing a task he considers basically unpleasant but unfortunately necessary in his case.

    First time I bothered watching it! GGG is the bigger man no doubt. I expected this but had to see for myself before the actual fight. I do not put much stock in stare downs.

    Golovkin say he remains Golovkin the nice guy and becomes GGG the animal on fight night. This time he looked like GGG at weigh in. He is very focused and is very hungry for this fight. He is ready. Canelo looked great at bang on 160 too, better than he ever did at 155. Face to face Canelo does not look worried either. Exciting times this.
