I know there is unfinished business at 147 (Mosley), but why not Bradley?

    If Mayweather fought Bradley...

    Would anyone be upset?

Aside from Pac, Bradley would be the most difficult opponent on Mayweather's record, and he brings a different kind of fight to the table.

Unlike other pressure fighters that Mayweather has made his living off of, and to some extent Pac too, Bradley comes in at angles and makes himself a very difficult target to hit.

On top of that he's actually a very good boxer, able to make an admittedly unexperienced, but very hungry determined, and athletic fighter in Peterson who had a great jab, lead the majority of the fight.

And Bradley had great success outboxing Peterson.

Now I'm not suggesting that Bradley would outbox Mayweather, because as we all know Mayweather would rather not fight at all than come foward against an opponent that can fight and it would likely be the most boring fight in history, but it still gives him some options and shows his versatility.

But even if he didn't use the full ring against Mayweather which is unlikely that he would unless he's ahead on the scorecards, his aggressive pressure fighting is enough to give Mayweather problems that I don't think other fighters were capable of giving him.

Bradley isn't just a mauler or a guy like Marquez who is a good fighter but normally a counterpuncher, he's an intelligent fighter that knows how to place his punches and throws rapid combinations that can steal him rounds.

And I think it's pretty clear that Bradley has a solid chin, and an incredible will to win. On top of this Mayweather is not a puncher, so I can see Mayweather actually being in a fight against this guy.

While at this point, I think Mayweather is too good for him and would likely pull away with a hard fought decision, if Bradley gets passed Amir Khan who has incredible speed and maybe another fighter in the division who can box, I think it's a tough match up for Mayweather.

I wouldn't be upset if Mayweather was in the ring with Bradley...

But of course Mosley should get the shot first.

Not a good look for Floyd to fight him. He needs to be fighting welters.

to some extent...mayweather has fought more pure boxers than pac...pac has fought exactly ZERO counterpunchers aside from a guy who gave him a dead even set of fights....PBF would smoke bradley...why do u keep coming up with these little guys...he just **** on JMM

watching funeka and bradley fight peterson and guzman does not make them worthy challengers for PBF....pbf should fight welters although I agree bradley would be a tougher fight than cotto even at this point...but it should be for legacy to shut paople up...mosely cotto williams after pac I guess or berto or whoever....none will be close fights though

Where in that thread did I say Pac was a pure boxer?

Pac will.....I hate to say absolutely, but in this case I think it's pretty clear, will 100% try to be aggressive against Floyd.

And while Pac throws punches from various angles, has immense speed, killer instinct and enough punching power that if he manages to land clean, he will hurt Floyd, he's also much more hittable than Bradley.

And PBF would not smoke Bradley. If PBF fought Bradley tomorrow, Bradley would be the best fighter on his resume EASY. Mayweather has never fought a guy like Bradley.

And I don't just pick small guys that would be good fights for Mayweather, but in this case, Bradley is an incredibly skilled small guy who has the skills and the determination to put Floyd in a serious fight.

Bradley don't fall down for nobody.

In a sense, I would agree with Reaper. People focus too much on weight. Styles are more important than size. A fight against a guy who is smaller than you but presents stlyistic challenges should be more acceptable than fighting a guy your size who is tailor made for you. However, fans and critics don't see it that way. That being said, no way should Floyd fight Bradley. Bradley is not experienced enough to be fighting a tricky fighter like Floyd. Bradley had problems avoiding Holt's countershots. Add that to Bradley's lack of name recognition and the fact that he's at a lower weightclass, and it's a no win fight for Floyd that he would get blasted for taking.

Bradley is doing his own thing, notching up some good names
in the process, he doesnt need Floyd atm, Bradley still needs
    more fights.

Khan would be a good fight, Berto would be a good fight if
    Bradley could get to 147.

If he can get to that weight, then a lot of options open up,
but I think he'd need to beat a couple of big names before
he was to get a shot at the likes of Mosely or Mayweather.

Why do you want a light welterweight fighting a welterweight after he fought a lightweight? Is Floyd supposed to work himself back up to welters in steps after he "retires"?
