Floyd isn't knocking people out for several reasons, higher weight = more durable opposition, doesn't take risks or put himself in jeopardy, has brittle hands and trying to KO opponents would shorten his career.

watch his video on fighthype.. he says he's probably a true 140lb'er but due to age and the fact he hasn't made 140 in years, he doesn't think he'd be able to make that weight anymore.

Just because duran did it doesn't mean everyone can. Theres exceptions to rules. Look at floyds career before he moved to 147 his record was 35-0 24ko's.. i don't think thats too bad. He clearly doesn't carry crazy power but in the lower weights he could break people down and ko them late... in the higher weights his punches just don't have that effect anymore.

ah maybe because of 20 plus years of boxing his hands can no-longer stand up to him leaning his full weight into a punch.. IDK its been documented a million times that the mans hands are like fuking these days.

Many fighter no longer have the will to lay into their opponent after breaking their hands Hearns is perfect example.

For one the fight was an accumulation of punches against a guy who had no defense. Also Duran had a very low percentage of KO above 147 and they were against lesser opponents (cans). Truth be told Duran never KO any top fighter above 154 and those he did where cans.

Mayweather to me is a lightweight or light welter at most but his skills enable him to move up
Pac i think was at his best at feather or super feather he had real power at those weights and he also fights well above what he should because he is good enough to

The last 5 fights of Floyd Jr. were all bought, fixed and became No. 1 P4p. Money were the key on these 5 fights of him!! This fight vs PAC is for sure real one, thats why he is afraid to fight him. He(Floyd) offered PAC before for 40M to lose the fight, PAC turned down the offer and that's story behind.

No it's because he has medium power and bad hands he is a natural 154/147 now he comes in very strong and energized not weakened by dropping weight.

He has never been a big puncher he is just very accurate you don't need ernie shavers power if you can land in the right spot repeatedly.

Let's look at the facts 140 and up Money is 14-0 with 5 KOs , at 140 and up Pac is 8-2 with 3 KOs, take it another step all 3 fights Money had at 154 were against the #1 rated fighter at that weight and Pac beat Margo. My question is if KOs are so important why do fans overlook Pacs lack of stoppages?

because Pacquiao is a true featherweight where as FMJ is a true LW. You can't expect pac to ko as many guys given the size disparity.

So do you think Pacs power is overrated at the higher weights?

Floyd, fights P4P fighters and top 3 in their divsions. Not espn fighters or handpicked fighters like some good/great fighters have and are doing. Floyd goes up and down in weight classes like no other fighter. No fighter bum rushes Floyd for good reason. Thry feel his power and get in survival mode!
