Its kinda funny how I usually picture Gomez as some short stocky fighter... But in this fight against Cotto he is actually the larger man, being 2 inches taller, also with a 2 inch reach.

Anything less than a brutal win for Cotto would be a disappointment.

Gomez is gonna surprise alot of people when he puts up a hell of a fight. Hes a tough guy with decent power especially at WW, decent punch and decent skills. He will try to keep Cotto off with his jab but Cotto will get there and it will be a war on the inside. Cotto's accuracy and speed will win the night but Gomez will give and take.

    Get ready for your disappointment.
Gomez has the skills, chin and determination.
He may not win, but Cotto will be in for a fight.

I don't know man, after seeing him go life and death to squeek out a decision over old ass Ben Tackie, it's very hard to imagine that Gomez can hang at all with Cotto.

I don't know about that. He should definately win this fight. For me though, it's more about how he looks. How good is his defense? How effective is he with that right hand? Gomez has no shot at winning this fight but he has what it takes to give Cotto some good rounds. Gomez is a pretty good size WW. I think he'll get stopped, but it wouldn't neccesarily be a dissapointment if he went the full 12 and won 3 or 4 rounds.

I'm looking forward to attending this match and I feel it will be a good one.

Cotto will most likely win a decision imo.

Margarito - Cintron II is not a bad supporting fight!
