Canelo's power is very good at 154 and would carry to 160
well enough, but his problem is that he is only deadly from
about 3 feet. He doesn't go after guys well and he can't
fight good at all when being smothered, as Kirkland showed.
I also think alot of guys at 160 beat him but i'm 100% sure
GGG KO's Canelo if they ever meet. Canelo just doesn't have
the wherewithall to impose any dominance or become the
general in that ring. GGG will dictate pace and distance and
land the majority of the hurtful punches w/ Canelo having
some success. Some success won't be good enough vs GGG
and I see Canelo becoming unstuck within 4-5 rds and succumbing
shortly thereafter. His obvious televised relunctance to challenge
himself right now against the Kazak fighter lets me know that
    Canelo agrees with my predictions.

    Average power at 154?

Aside now HW Ishida, no one had KO Kirkland that way, and Kirkland has been in there is punchers.

Canelo also had the defensive Lara fight the most defensive fight of his life... Lara was avoiding Canelo's power like it was the plague.

Canelo was also the first person to KD Austin Trout.

He completely reduced Angulo to a punching bag by using his power to keep Angulo honest..NOt even Lara was able to avoid the wrath of Angulo's pressure, but power is waht kept Angulo completely useless against the Ginger.

Canelo's power is just fine, the difference is he picks his shots, is very patient, he takes his time and prefers to counter a lot of the time rather than go in like a wild caveman clubbing away with no regard to defense.
