Fair enough Trotter but like you say, "In time honoured promoter fashion"

He's certainly not the worst out there, and just looks that bad over here because he's so high profile. Lets face it, the other British promoters are wank, so everything he does is blown out of proportion!

He's a **** lets be honest. He might be amusing on occasions, but most of what he does in boxing is ****ish and that is ultimately what he is judged on.

The sad thing is he's still the best promoter out there for a British fighter.

He has the best roster in the UK and occasionally makes some good fights.

But some of the stuff he says about other boxers not under his promotion in his column is really annoying - like slagging Haye off is a regular thing for him to do.

he denies the boxing public of decent matches in pathetic attempts to build fighters to 25-0 records he wastes his column in the sun which should be a great way to publicise boxing by using it to score points in petty arguments and hes managed to further fuk up an awful situation which means we have more belts than boxers in some divisons.
and in the recent court case with calzaghe the judge nearly went as far as calling him a lieing scamming **** but used far more clever language than that..
in reply to those he say he his the best option in britain then in away u r right like u r in the right in saying ginger birds are better than fat ginger birds( apolagise in advance to those lovers of the ginger women)

What a stupid stupid thing to say. Comparing a boxing promoter to 2 facist dictators....

You take away the dictators then you have no ethnic clensing, no racial wars etc etc.

You take away the promoters then you have no boxing. The best out of the promoters MUST be doing something right.

Come on pal, your normally a good poster.

mate i wasnt comparing warren to a facist dictator simply trying to point out that out of 2 bad options one is slightly more favourable than the other however neither are good.i will edit the pot and come up with aless controversal comparison
i dont want to ditch promoters they back the sport finacialy and are an integral part of the game i just belive for the reasons ive already stated eg creating weak record for fighters etc that warren doesnt do the sport justice and deprieves us of great domestic match ups although i belive we will see a change in this as interest has arguably declined in boxing combined with the economic climate means promoters like warren will have to make exciting fights if they want to make money
