I think he has every chance in the world and can perform much better than we've seen on the big stage.

Hes much more difficult to handle than he looks and his style is pretty unorthodoxed.

People often forget he was a world championship medalist, the firts to claim one for britain i mite add.

I would rather see him clean up the smw division, but w/e he deserves the pay day.

Im a big fan of b-hop and think he a modern day great. But underestimate Carl at your own peril.

I dont think Pavlik is all that better than Froch, it would certainly be alot better fight than a Froch/Hopkins fight. Froch had a real scare fightin Taylor and i think hes learned his lesson to start quicker, so Pavlik would be a good match up for him. Hopkins should just retire now on a high.

One of the things that makes boxing such a great sport is that it is absolutely loaded with irony. The irony here is that Pavlik would be a much more dangerous opponent for Froch than Hopkins.

Hopkins would pick Froch apart, and force a late stoppage. He'd use clever foot work, hand speed, clever countering, and ring smarts. At the end of the day either the ref or Froch's corner would show some compassion, and call the fight.

Pavlik has a completely different tempermant from Hops. He'd force Froch into a war of attrition, and beat him senseless. Taylor couldn't miss Froch with left hands. Pavlik has a stiffer, and far more versatile left than Taylor. JT put Froch down with a single right hand. Pavlik has one of the best right hands in the business. He's bigger, stronger, has way better stamina, and hits harder than Taylor. Froch had real problems with Taylor's hand speed. Pavlik has to be nearly as fast handed as JT otherwise there is no way to explain how he went jab for jab with Jermain TWICE.

Hopkins/Froch would mean a loss to an ATG for Froch. The fight would probably be at a catch weight, so Froch's title would not be on the line. He'd lick his wounds ahwile, and life would go on. Pavlik would take Froch's title, his zero, and change his life forever.

i think froch has a better chance against hopkins the pavlik did, hopkins is going to have to come to froch, which could be dangerous for him.....

i actually think froch should be calling out and trash talking kessler, to me kessler is turning into the new felix sturm.
