he said sillakh was running his mouth and he wanted to punish him for it and he caught a lot of **** coming into the ring during the cleverly fight and wanted to give it back to the crowd.

this is a hard ass sport for hard ass dudes and is very unforgiving. no one else is paying this man's bills so i have no problem with how he's carried himself. he's not there to make friends.

No worries, I wasn't talking about him in the ring. I pay no attention to trash talk either way, its a pile of bull****. WWE ****.

He doesn't seem to have the best grasp on English yet imo.

I don't see what the issue is. Boxing is a dangerous sport and things happen. Should Kovalev just retire or stop trying to knock guys out because someone died after a fight with him? He runs the same risk of being killed in the ring as any other fighter would. I remember seeing Erik Morales standing over an opponent that was still on the floor using it as a photo op. You never know what kind'a trash the other guy was talking in the pre-fight build up. I thought Kovalev went over and consoled Sillakh after the fight. That's what it looked like to me anyways.

Here's a section of the Welsh crowd booing the Russian anthem and him flipping them off at the end of the fight

He also stuck his tongue out and pulled a face at Lionell Thompson and mocked Cleverly with his hip thrust but in both instances, as with when he flipped off the Welsh crowd, he was responding to provocation.

Nothing wrong in flipping finger for disrespectful Brits.

..but if the opponent is out on his feet, some discretion in putting punches together wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.

To be fair he's not disrespectful. He's just a very good fighter who lets his fists do the talking. Nothing wrong with that.
