    **** talking is a disease of all fighters and that disease doesn't discriminate.

    I defiantly think he should call out the winner of Margarito ..Hell im sure Margarito wants nothing more than a chance at redemption againt Paul ..A fight with Berto would look good for Berto it would boost his career and we get a solid welter weight match up ..

    All fighters talk **** ... Paul Williams is no exception ... it has nothing to do with Al Haymon ...

    These guys have won world titles and they think they're the best in the world.

    If Paul Williams modifies the fight style he brought against Quintana in the 2nd fight, I think he would be more than a handful for Cotto, assuming that he wins.

    i lost respect for williams after his team declined a margarito rematch, they basically said 'been there done that', margo gave him a shot when he could have fought cotto for more money

    i really dont know about the possible out come of a fight between

    paul & cotto

    but this is cottos biggest fight to date...

    paul already beat this guy.. plus he beat a guy cotto need 5 rounds to beat .. in 1 round (although he lost to this same fight 1 fight ago)

    im not siding with paul..

    im just playing the middle

    Margo is the biggest name in his division and he already defeated him. Only person left for him is Cotto with Mayweather retired and there's no way Cotto would take that fight.

    cotto needed 1 fight to beat quintana, coto is 1-0 with quintana while williams is 1-1

    He's just trying to get a big fight, and is probably saying things that his management wants him to say to make it happen

    When did his team turn down a rematch? I know Margo said that he wouldn't fight him again unless Arum promoted the fight. I also know that Arum was deadset on setting up a Cotto/Margo fight. He didn't want Margo to fight Williams in the first place. I doubt he was down for a rematch. Williams, himself, is more than willing to fight Margo again. Check this quote out;

    A Margarito victory?
    It's a no-brainer, the rematch is on. Can't take nothing away from Margarito, he didn't dump his belt in a trash can to avoid me. He fought like a man that night, and I've always said I would give him the rematch.

    i read it a while ago, it was when mosley-cotto was signed, margarito's team (not arum) wanted a rematch with williams and williams' team said they are after bigger things.

    Cotto said he was after bigger things when asked about fighting Margo after the Cotto/Mosley fight. Things change. Williams has never shied away from another fight with Margo. I don't know how you could lose respect for him based on something you claim his team said, especially when Cotto himself made similar remarks in regards to Margo.
