It's a huge chance for Jones. Beating Calzaghe at this stage of his career would be a massive win for Jones, perhaps his best. I think it would rocket him up my all time p4p list, to around #17.

Unfortunately I don't think his chances are serious.

I just don't see it, he can't win a decision, and he can't knock Calzaghe out, he old and I hope he retires after this once and for all.

at this stage of his career it would be an amazing win but he has little chance of winning.the only he could win is a lucky punch that koes Calzaghe.

He can't win a close decision cause its in Wales, so I don't think he has a shot.

it could be in the St. Pete Times Forum and it wouldn't change the result. Calzaghe will win a decision, unless Roy gets tired and ends up sitting on the ropes, in which case Calzaghe would win via TKO. The ref would stop it .

I, for one, believe he actually has a pretty good chance. Roy's smart - he only takes a fight when he knows he can win; and I think he can. Maybe he does see that weakness

And on another note, I thought it was a bit 'harsh' for Jim Lampley to state so quickly and noticably, that we'd never see Roy in the ring again.

Larry Merchant - Will we ever see Roy Jones in--
    Jim Lampley - NOPE

Obviously nobody expected to see him back in the ring again, but he came back, determined; he proved Jim Lampley wrong, and I hope he can prove 95% of the whole world wrong when it comes to fight night

    Go Roy

I pray to God, Allah, Conficius, Bouddha, Jesus, Mohammed, Moses, the Sun, and Garden Gnomes that Roy Jones can cement his greatness with a win over Joe Calzaghe in his old age, but i doubt its gonna happen.

This is the reason, I think, why i'm a Jones fan now, and I never was before. He's shown determination and heart which I always felt was lacking in him, somewhat. In addition, he's improved technically, which I like!

You can see why Lampley said that though. I sure as **** felt exactly the same way after Johnson did hm. He looked ruined, he looked done.

You got most of the bases covered, but you should try writing a letter to Santa.

However, I must fess up to being a Joe fan too. Right now I would like Jones to win, but that could change.
