From a totally emotional response: "Me Too!" Haye chose the supposed easy road but in boxing a motivated fighter is a dangerous fighter. I sincerely hope that Audley's doing the work required to put on a respectable and professional showing. Take a leaf out of busta douglas' pre-tyson preparations.
Harrison is the most dellusional fighter in the sport, he seems to think his left hand is some sort of magic weapon after the sprott fight.
I quite like that about him too. Apart from Haye, I tend to sympathise with fighters who get a load of stick, and Audley must get more abuse than... well, anyone I'd love to see Audley take the title off Haye. If it happens I'll drop all commitments and spend 24/7 on this forum celebrating :huh I see no contradiction
I've always taken Harrison with a pinch of salt. I'd love him to win and get the title. Would be even better if he could go on and beat both of the Klitschkos too. Unfortunately I happen to be a realist.
I don't see why everyone is so harsh on Audley, all he is doing is fulfilling his destiny. You can't argue with destiny blud. Haye KO1 (Heart attack)
Hahah yeah it could be cool if he won, but unfortunately he will be 39 when the fight happens, so he will not be the champ for a long time, or will he? David Haye will retire in 1 ½ year so maybe Audley can worun a longer run as a champ than Haye.
Audley's won me over in recent times. I hated him with a passion to begin with, but his deluded confidence has eventually made me want to see him succeed. I mean his last fight against Sprott was ****ing hilarious. The dude is losing every minute of every round, he's in the 12th, seconds away from his career going down the toilet, the commentators are talking about his impending retirement.....and then all of a sudden he pulls out that outrageous left hand, knocking the life out of Sprott . His reaction after realising what he had done, was priceless! Despite him having next to no chance, I really really really really really want him to prove his detractors (which includes me) horribly wrong. I honestly think it would be the funniest thing in British boxing history, and his prophecies of becoming a world heavweight champ, would finally come true. Come on, Audley.
If we could cross Ellie with Jim Grey we would have a hit interviewer. Closest thing I've heard to that is ESB poster Taylor Brogdon.....most of the boxing interviewers today suck on the arsehole to a fault. I'd like to see some more people with the balls to ask the hard questions behind the mich.
