The equation is more complex than beating two ATG

you have to take into context at what age the fighters were, and other circumstances revolving around the fights.

Im not entirely familiar with everybody on here and who are the trolls and who aren't. Those who do know me from the BS history section will tell you I try to be respectful as long as Im treated the same for the most part, so everybody gets a pass from me till I know you better.

 

I think Tony Canzoneri would fall perfectly into this category after losing close back to back fights with Barney Ross in both their primes. After this fight Canzoneri went on to have big wins over Arizmendi, Klick, McLarnin, Ambers and Kid Chocolate. All at lightweight besides the Mclarnin fights. No?

 

I think it´s certainly possible. Frazier has the better resume and was more dominant. Foreman has his huge comeback though. Most people rank Foreman higher though but It don´t think it´s hard to put Frazier above him.

I think Holy is solidly ahead of Bowe. Outside of Holyfield Bowe just lacks everything, depth in resume, dominance, longevity, outstanding achievements. Yeah, he looked great in there with Holyfield but that´s it. Not a great hw IMO.

I ranked Holy ahead most of the time but Mike has a good case based on his dominance in his first reign.

Tunney did like nothing at hw outside of beating Dempsey. Jack clearly is ahead of him. P4p it´s a different story.

At 140? Clearly Pryor, not only did he beat Arguello twice, he also did much more work here. P4p it´s Alexis though, more depth, better achievements.

Well, you could do it based on Moore beeing a longtime champ. Their resumes at lhw are quite comperable. Moore has an edge in longevity here. But of course Charles beat him. You can make an argument but I wouldn´t do it.

 

first thing that came to my mind. H2H Tunney just had Grebs number but i dont know many people who rank Tunney ahead of Greb in thewir ATG list
