I love how 90% of the people trashing Mora before the fight have now shut up.

'Mora won't make it out of the first round!'

    'He's getting decapitated!'

'This is a joke of a fight.'

    :rofl

Great performance by Mora, horrible performance by Forrest (he can give a big THX to Buddy McGirt).

When the 90% think the same their opinion is probably very close to reality because they all saw the two fighters1 last few outings vs. the given competition - so yes, a blowout was indeed a reality on paper.

What makes our great sport very exciting is the large factor of unpredictability and Mora put on a great performance to remind us... anything can happen in boxing. In the end, Mora saved the performance of his life for the most important fight and that made him a world champion and the most successful The Contender fighter - just when the show needed some recognition after several lackluster performances... what a relief for SRL and for the team...

The big Q here is whether Mora can repeat the championship performance or will lose to the first fighter he takes lightly... until we'll get the answer for that, congrats to the new champ!

If you look closer, they haven't but rather make excuses for Forrest.

    "He had an off night."

    "**** training camp"

What's even funnier is how people are now saying that Mora is the man at 154.

i've always liked and rooted for Mora, but I didn't think he would pull it off honestly. I was pleasently suprised.

Forrest is shot he had no movement,he was tired by the 6th round and his left hand was no existent. 37 years will do that to a man.
