I love how 90% of the people trashing Mora before the fight have now shut up.

It was actually The 48 Laws of Power, and he was later proven right about Joey's scheming, as Joey himself admitted. It may have been cheesy and silly, but he was completely right with his little speech. Mora was one of the few fighters with an actual brain on that show.

Like I said, I'm not even a Mora fan -- I'm just objective enough to find it amusing how everyone jumps all over this guy and refuses to give him a shred of credit. Is he a great fighter? Nope. Should he be undefeated? Nope. Does he still deserve more credit than he commonly recieves? Yep.

I picked Forrest to win via very close decision in the prediction league but did mention that Mora had a good chance. Only reason I didnt bet on the upset was because of the latest Gomez-Forrest fight still fresh of my mind.

I find it funny though how when the first contender show came out alot of guys were saying Manfredo & Mora werent really contenders and dont even belong in the top 25. Now and THE NEW champion of the world!!!!! :)

Your right. Mora was the one talking about how he read The art of war three times and thats why he has an edge.

I have to say I was absolutely shocked and friggin horrified by the sight of Mora beating Forrest.

Yes, my crow as usual is cold, terrible, and vomit inducing. Oh well.

I didnt think Mora would pull it off but props to him for proving so many people wrong and believing in himself.

Those of you who cant give him his due props on this are just punks.

I didn't expect Vernon to destroy him, Mora is a slick fighter. I don't see him being a Champ for to long though.

I said he would be stopped with in three, but damn was I ****ing wrong!! you could see something in Mora when he was hitting the mitts in the dressing room and on his way to the ring, the man was in a ****ing Zone mentally.
How he proved us all wrong has everything to do with his training and his state of mind, but it also had to do with Forrest lack of taking Sergio serious, I honestly beleive that Forrest in this fight made the same mistake that Williams made in his first fight with Quintana.
But there is the age factor though I think Forrest is much better than what he showed last weekend I am not sure if it has anything to do with his age or not. He should retire.
Mora did whip that ass from the 4th on.

I have to admit....it surprised the hell out of me watching how Sergio took the fight to Vernon and beat him convingingly. I was going with Vernon by KO.
