Tszyu - Following his second victory over Mitchell, Tszyu stated in the post fight interview he wanted to unify in a big PPV fight against Arturo Gatti. Before doing that Tszyu had to make a mandatory defense paid for hansomely by Frank Warren. Floyd even back in 2005 was in no position to just demand fights with whoever he wanted. What better way to corner Tszyu than take the belt he wants? No fighter in their right mind would pass up the oppurtunity to make a PPV debut in a sold out Atlantic City arena. Tszyu unfortunately didnt come through on his end of the deal.



As for Baldomir, Floyd was contemplenting fighting Margo but after Arum wanted more ties and offered less money for Cotto and Hatton.

By beating Baldomir, he would become a lineal champion, beating the past champion and the current, and giving him control of who he fights in the future.

 

Floyd deserved Baldmir.....Baldi was THE WW Champion of the world.....not Floyd.

Bruseles was a bs fight and Floyd want the top dog like he is now....and Gatti was a money fight and Gatti had a 140 pound belt.

Hatton is a bigger star than Cotto..and cmon man you know Hatton brings fans and dollars...you know why that fight was made.

Tell Cotto to fight Williams then Cintron..and if he beats those two...Floyd-Cotto....'09...Unification of the WW Title...SIMPLE.

to be honest with you I would pick margarito over cotto. as big as cotto is he is not explosive which is what a short fighter has to be. I see williams, margarito, and cintron beating cotto rather easily.

cotto is not talneted enough to unify the rest of the titles. and if a floyd vs hoya fight comes off again then the other three title holders better start fighting each other if they want a shot at the winner of floyd vs oscar.

 

cotto already earned his shot, but i wouldn't mind seeing a williams showdowm but cintron is just a cry baby.

 

For One I think DLH gets knocked out this time around because it would be at 147...Either way DLH/PBF and Cotto/Gomez both suck....Williams must laughing
