I love how you people trash Mayweather for fighting DLH again...

I know what I saw, and it was a damn great fight where both guys fought like they wanted to kill the other, with skill and power. I'm not saying it was a robbery by any means, but but if you think it was a Cotto dominated fight all they way, you need glasses. I watched this fight in a house with nearly all Puerto Rican die hard Cotto fans, and even they were split as to who had won by the end.

ask anyone who knows me here i am a huge shane mosley fan, cotto did win clearly, shane was so worried about the left hook to the body that he forgot about all the other punchers such jabs, straight rights and uppercuts, he was looking out for the hook to the body way too much, when cotto started moving backwards he sort of used a shoulder roll type of defense and avoided alot of shanes punches while countering with rights.

Avoided Shane's punches???? Mosley cracked him with sledgehammer rights all not long, and Cotto landed his big shots as well.

Cotto has many talents, but avoiding punches is not one of them, as his face showed at the end.

not all night long, when cotto was coming forward, that was when shane was landing his over hand rights, when cotto was backing up he was able to slip and counter.

oh and i think you need to look at both of their faces, all cotto had was a cut over one of his eyes from a headbutt while shanes right jaw swole up and his right ear was bleeding

Mosley made the cut in his mouth bleed as well. This from brutal rights.

And Mosley did land some significant body punches through out the match. This forced Cotto to start backing up in the late rds.

Lance I've asked this before, you've missed it.

You said you were "fine" with Floyd fighting Hatton, what did you mean by fine? Did you mean, he should of fought someone else but Im okay with this or you wanted him to fight Hatton?

I meant exactly what I said. I would have preferred they fight @ 140 (since we all know Hatton is not a WW), but this was better then Mayweather - Spinks Mayweather - DLH II, or some bull**** like that.

Floyd is the WW champ and should fight WW's. If he wants just meaningless money fights, drop the ****in belts.

well i never wanted floyd to fight hatton, i knew hatton was nothing, anyone who picked hatton to win was either a hater or just a delusional brit or orishaman.

The difference I HAVE is that I feel like Floyd makes his own fights where as IMHO Arum is pushing for this Cotto-Margarito fight. He's been doing it since Cotto beat Judah and looks set to continue to try and set that fight up.

Floyd-ODH is another quick check for Floyd and does nothing for his growing legacy.

Just seems like a step backwards....At this point Floyd is a big enough draw that he doesn't need to go back to Oscar.

we never got to see that cut, the hbo crew just thought that because cotto suddenly decided to change styles, if his corner did say it was cut how comes we never heard it?

It wasn't a fight I particularly WANTED (as you say), but was merely FINE with it. Are you trying to piece something together? :huh

i dont think there would have been any difference if the fight was at 140.
