    Of course.

I watched him destroy Paniagua just last week.

He is quite a prospect, and has Nacho's unmistakable imprint.

    So the stable is now:

    J. González
    R. Vargas
    J. Marquez
    D. Estrada
    J. Chávez (f)

Nice pared-down group. Three veterans (Estrada, Marquez, and González average 16+ years pro experience, and 55 bouts each) and two hard-working open-eared youngsters. I wouldn't expect him to have a lot more at his age. He never was the sort to spread his attentions very thin anyway.

I thought Nacho was also the trainer of Ricardo Lopez back in the 90's?

This post made me look up Nacho one more time and something I didnt know is that he managed the Mexican olympic team multiple times to win multiple gold medals as well. Is it common for trainers like that to train amateurs? I think Steward train Hearns from the amateurs too but I hadnt heard of anyone else

Nacho has always reminded me of one of the old landowners who's banging a ton of mistresses right under his wife's nose while they all live in a huge hacienda together from Luis Bunuel movies in the 50's

Just recognizing that Nacho has produced more talent than JMM, Lopez is one of my favorite smaller champions of all time.

Nacho is a hell of a trainer!
