I Love Teddy Atlas But…is wrong to continually criticize Tyson and Wlad Klitschko

True story, teddy 'bear' atlas got his scar from a prince albert, i don't how, just what I've heard:scaredas:

 

I figured out a longtime ago that Teddy Atlas only cares about Teddy Atlas. All this stuff about him acting like he cares is just an act. He has stepped over people to make a buck himself. While some of his criticism(s) about Tyson are right many of them are agenda driven.

These are atlas stories I got from another forum. I'm 100% sure that they are factual.



Not that I ever heard, regarding the company. Gravnano turned rat about a year after him and Atlas hooked up. There was a cop who while on duty would stop up gym with partner. He got to know a lot of boxing people, and got a NYS Athletic commission side job. One of the guys you see climb into ring between rounds and watch cornermen, as if they know what the **** they are looking for anyway. He was friendly with Atlas. One day Atlas asked him why he never called anymore, cops said because of Gravano, and possible phone taps. Also I don't think he wanted anything to do with Teddy since he got so close to Gravano. Anyway, Atlas got mad cop, told everyone he was a creep, and worthless, adding "My friend Sam is stand up guy, and I stick with him" Right after that came bust, then Gravano ratting, Atlas told reporters and others "I knew he was weak mentally and a coward, I was trying to help him to save the son"

In 1997, Atlas beat the crap put of guy in Madison Square Garden, a fan who was trying to ask Matt Dillon and William DeFoe for autograph.
It got mention in newspaper, then a follow up by reporter friendly to Atlas saying fan called him Scarface, which people there said was untrue.

What was not reported, and was told to me by a former boxer, is that most of beating of fan happened outside after incident. Atlas had bunch of friends with him, all in suits. A few guys were trying to stop the beating, including a few ex-champs from New York and some trainers. Every time they stopped one or two guys, others would continue kicking guy around. Two guys with Atlas pulled Detective shield out when some cops showed, and group walked. That is how they got guy outside to side street past security, Atlas was with bunch of cops that night. Guess after Spero went away and Gravano ratted he got new friends.

Teddy is a dick who is prone to bullshitting but Tyson did show mental frailties at times and Wlad is freakishly overcautious because even he knows that his chin isn't great.
